The main regulations covering pressure equipment and systems are the Pressure Equipment Regulations 1999 and the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, which stipulate that a written scheme of examination is required prior to use; this is an inspection and is not a substitute for regular, routine maintenance.
We draw up a scheme that identifies which parts of a system require examination, nature and frequency of testing and whether equipment is in or out of service
For internal defect detection, we use state of the art Non-Destructive Testing ultrasonic methods in the inspection of pressure vessels and examine them for flaws and defects that compromise their safety.
